Tours of the site?

Once we have a full understanding of the site, we should start running tours:

1       Public Tours:   Designed for anyone wanting a tour of the site’s unique characteristics.   Duration:  1.5 hours.   $15 per person for groups of five or more.  Minimum charge of $70 per group (or individual/couple). These tours are also run in Gold Coast Green Week.

2       Professional Tours:  Designed for industry professionals (engineers, architects, designers, builders, tradespeople etc)  Duration: 2 hours. $60 per person, minimum of two people.  Group discounts are available; please complete the Form below to request.

3       VIP Tours: Designed for interstate and international guests who require a customised  Duration: Any.  POA.

  • The Development Process and hurdles
  • The village centre Plan
  • The community centre
  • The unique community and housing design
  • The Reduce, Reuse and Recycle (RRR) site
  • Water sensitive urban design and landscaping
  • Information about our unique waste water treatment plant
  • The results of a four year university study comparing the community to a local contemporary estate in the area.
  • The fibre optic Telecommunications system
  • The unique community and housing design
  • The amazing landscaping
  • A tour of an eco-friendly house (time permitting)
  • Lunch at the Cafe (option for all visitors)

Fees are charged for tours to CVSScover the cost of the tour operations. These tours provide local jobs for residents living in the local community.  Tours group sizes are limited.  Ecomplish Consulting runs the tours.
